    i'm three days into a tea, cayenne, lemon water fast
    but here's a yummy recipe

    ani's raw minestrone soup is super good too

    ------------------------------

    soup base:
    1 cup sun dried tomatoes
    2 cups water
    3 stalks celery roughly chopped
    2 cloves of garlic
    quarter to half teaspoon cayenne
    i teaspoon of sea salt
    3 cups tomatoes diced

    soup toppings:
    1 zucchini chopped
    1/3 cup basil leaves chopped
    1/4 cup oregano leaves
    1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
    pinch of ground black pepper

    soak the sun dried tomatoes in two cups of water for 10 minutes or until soft
    blend 2 cups of soaked water from the sun dried tomatoes with the celery, garlic, cayenne and sea salt until smooth
    add fresh tomatoes and soaked sun dried tomatoes to the blender
    blend on low, making sure to leave a chunky texture, like that of a chunky marinara
    this isn't supposed to be a smooth soup base
    to serve, place zucchini and herbs into four soup bowls
    pour soup into each bowl, top with a swirl of olive oil and black pepper
    soup base with toppings will keep for one day in the fridge

      today i had a cacao/coconut smoothie for breakfast with a home-made magic maca bar. right now i'm enjoying an arugula spinach salad with a sundried tomato dressing, and some homemade raw veggie burgers. here are the recipes:

      cacao coconut smoothie

      water and meat of three young coconuts
      2 tbsp cacao
      2-3 tbsp raw carob
      1 heaping spoonful of maca powder
      and a handful of hempseeds

      magic maca bars

      2 cups of wild jungle peanuts, ground to butter
      3 heaping spoonfuls of maca
      agave nectar
      and 2 pinches of cinnamon

      _________

      raw veggie burgers

      a dozen or so shiitake or crimini shrooms, minced
      1 cup of walnuts, pulverized
      1 half an onion
      handful or two of cilantro or basil
      salt and your choice of pepper

      mold into patties and dehydrate!

      could also add bell peppers, sundried tomatoes, sundried olives, garlic, spinach, or whatever you like!
